id="temp61743"></div></div></div>----<br/><br/><strong>DSLM&nbsp;time-lapse&nbsp;recording&nbsp;of&nbsp;zebrafish&nbsp;embryogenesis&nbsp;in&nbsp;the&nbsp;animal&nbsp;hemisphere</strong><br/>The&nbsp;movie&nbsp;shows&nbsp;maximum-intensity&nbsp;projections&nbsp;of&nbsp;a&nbsp;DSLM&nbsp;time-lapse&nbsp;recoding&nbsp;of&nbsp;zebrafish&nbsp;embryonic&nbsp;development,&nbsp;with&nbsp;a&nbsp;view&nbsp;on&nbsp;the&nbsp;animal&nbsp;hemisphere.&nbsp;The&nbsp;wild-type&nbsp;zebrafish&nbsp;embryo&nbsp;was&nbsp;injected&nbsp;with&nbsp;H2B-eGFP&nbsp;mRNA&nbsp;at&nbsp;the&nbsp;one&nbsp;cell&nbsp;stage.&nbsp;Imaging&nbsp;was&nbsp;started&nbsp;at&nbsp;1.6&nbsp;hours&nbsp;post&nbsp;fertilization,&nbsp;during&nbsp;the&nbsp;transition&nbsp;from&nbsp;the&nbsp;32-&nbsp;to&nbsp;the&nbsp;64-cell&nbsp;stage.&nbsp;The&nbsp;entire&nbsp;data&nbsp;set&nbsp;consists&nbsp;of&nbsp;1,470&nbsp;time&nbsp;points,&nbsp;recorded&nbsp;in&nbsp;60&nbsp;s&nbsp;intervals.&nbsp;For&nbsp;each&nbsp;time&nbsp;point,&nbsp;205&nbsp;images&nbsp;with&nbsp;2048&nbsp;x&nbsp;2048&nbsp;pixels&nbsp;each&nbsp;were&nbsp;recorded&nbsp;within&nbsp;30&nbsp;s&nbsp;with&nbsp;a&nbsp;z-spacing&nbsp;of&nbsp;2.96&nbsp;µm&nbsp;(i.e.&nbsp;a&nbsp;600&nbsp;µm&nbsp;deep&nbsp;volume).&nbsp;The&nbsp;entire&nbsp;data&nbsp;set&nbsp;comprises&nbsp;301,350&nbsp;images&nbsp;(2.3&nbsp;TBytes).&nbsp;The&nbsp;images&nbsp;were&nbsp;deconvolved&nbsp;with&nbsp;the&nbsp;Lucy-Richardson-algorithm&nbsp;(20&nbsp;iterations)&nbsp;and&nbsp;normalized&nbsp;for&nbsp;constant&nbsp;overall&nbsp;intensity,&nbsp;thus&nbsp;compensating&nbsp;for&nbsp;the&nbsp;increasing&nbsp;intensity&nbsp;over&nbsp;time&nbsp;due&nbsp;to&nbsp;GFP-production.&nbsp;Since&nbsp;the&nbsp;illumination&nbsp;laser&nbsp;beam&nbsp;has&nbsp;to&nbsp;travel&nbsp;through&nbsp;the&nbsp;yolk&nbsp;in&nbsp;o&#114;der&nbsp;to&nbsp;excite&nbsp;fluorophores&nbsp;on&nbsp;the&nbsp;far&nbsp;left&nbsp;side&nbsp;of&nbsp;the&nbsp;animal&nbsp;hemisphere,&nbsp;the&nbsp;average&nbsp;nuclear&nbsp;brightness&nbsp;is&nbsp;lower&nbsp;in&nbsp;this&nbsp;part&nbsp;of&nbsp;the&nbsp;embryo.&nbsp;However,&nbsp;because&nbsp;of&nbsp;the&nbsp;excellent&nbsp;signal-to-noise&nbsp;ratio&nbsp;and&nbsp;the&nbsp;dynamic&nbsp;range&nbsp;of&nbsp;14&nbsp;bit&nbsp;of&nbsp;the&nbsp;DSLM&nbsp;images,&nbsp;the&nbsp;corresponding&nbsp;nuclei&nbsp;can&nbsp;also&nbsp;be&nbsp;robustly&nbsp;identified&nbsp;(see&nbsp;Figure&nbsp;S5).&nbsp;Detection&nbsp;lens:&nbsp;Carl&nbsp;Zeiss&nbsp;C-Apochromat&nbsp;10x/0.45&nbsp;W.<br/><br/>4.&nbsp;<span 		<description><![CDATA[&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<span style="color:Red">2重複</span><br/><br/>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<span style="color:Blue">作者:&nbsp;蔡豐州醫師&nbsp;(版權所有)</span><br/><br/>雖然[歷史專門研究所有不會重複的事](<strong>Paul&nbsp;Valery</strong>所述),&nbsp;可是我們都希望過去的錯誤能當做借鏡,&nbsp;減少未來出錯的可能,&nbsp;似乎也是我們受教育一部分的原因.<br/><br/><img src="http://www.plastyblog.com/attachments/month_0803/i2008320194254.jpg" border="0" alt=""/><strong>1914年6月28日是人類歷史上最長的一日!!</strong><br/><br/>1914年6月28日上午11點,&nbsp;一個陰錯陽差的戲劇化場景事件導致了第一次世界大戰,&nbsp;造成1000萬人死亡.&nbsp;那是一個Sarajevo(塞拉耶佛)的晴朗日子,&nbsp;特別適合出遊.&nbsp;一位載著兩名乘客的轎車司機因為判斷錯誤,&nbsp;轉錯了彎,&nbsp;進到一條死巷,&nbsp;其實這種錯誤,也許是稀鬆平常,&nbsp;大不了倒車就好.&nbsp;他們也只不過想去市政府參加歡迎典禮,&nbsp;一個&#34;簡單&#34;的行程!!&nbsp;不過,&nbsp;這一刻,&nbsp;&nbsp;轎車剛好停在一位19&nbsp;歲波斯尼亞&nbsp;塞爾維亞學生Gavrilo&nbsp;Princip的前面,&nbsp;他身為塞爾維亞恐怖組織Black&nbsp;Hand的成員,&nbsp;這位年輕人簡直不敢相信,&nbsp;居然這麼好運.&nbsp;他不急不徐走向轎車,&nbsp;從口袋裡掏出一把手槍,&nbsp;扣了兩次板機.&nbsp;就這樣不到30分鐘,&nbsp;車裏兩名乘客,&nbsp;也就是奧匈帝國的裴迪南大公和他的妻子當場斃命.<br/><br/><img src="http://www.plastyblog.com/attachments/month_0803/h200832019435.jpg" border="0" alt=""/>&nbsp;<strong>Black&nbsp;Hand的封印</strong>---&nbsp;很多組織都是建立在一群人的自我主體價值上,&nbsp;難以動搖,&nbsp;非常狂熱,&nbsp;局部觀有其正當性,&nbsp;但是宏觀來說,&nbsp;往往傷害更多的人而不自知.&nbsp;套句杜思妥也夫斯基的妙語:&nbsp;[無論好壞,&nbsp;有時候破壞的感覺真的很好.]&nbsp;&nbsp;一旦深陷某些團體與組織,&nbsp;身不由己是常見的原因,&nbsp;群眾甚至推著您走,&nbsp;進退兩難.&nbsp;<br/><br/><strong>單一事件只是所有潛在問題的引爆點,&nbsp;導火線.</strong><br/><br/>第一次世界大戰的導火線就是如此奇妙,&nbsp;2顆,&nbsp;比台灣總統大選的兩顆子彈影響更大,&nbsp;奧,&nbsp;俄,&nbsp;德,&nbsp;法,&nbsp;英,&nbsp;土耳其等國通通被捲入戰火.<br/><br/>沒有人喜歡偶發事件,&nbsp;因為不確定因素太多,&nbsp;同樣的,&nbsp;不管喜不喜歡科學,&nbsp;我們出社會做事情,&nbsp;都是學習在腦中推演可能的情況,&nbsp;避免不好的因素,&nbsp;來加以做出最適判斷.&nbsp;我們當然相信,&nbsp;過去就讓它過去,&nbsp;人要往前看,&nbsp;要積極進取正面,&nbsp;但是,&nbsp;實在從哪個角度來看,&nbsp;尤其是[本質]這件事的角度,&nbsp;很難排除重複的機率.<br/><br/>這是數學&#34;<strong>條件機率</strong>&#34;的概念!!<br/><br/>意外的重複其實是有預防方法的.&nbsp;怎麼說?&nbsp;生物界演化的&#34;意外&#34;是突變,&nbsp;這從兩個角度來看,&nbsp;有正面意義,&nbsp;可以演化出更優秀的物種;&nbsp;也有負面,&nbsp;也就是產生適應條件較差的物種,&nbsp;甚至癌症都是.&nbsp;當然負面的意外通常都逃不過環境的篩選,&nbsp;導致意外的解除,&nbsp;這在演化上稱作&nbsp;<span style="color:Green"><strong>凍結意外(frozen&nbsp;accidents)&nbsp;</strong></span>.<br/><br/>我早期投身學運,&nbsp;看到的是當下累積許久台灣的族群傾軋與不民主,&nbsp;自然會有相當程度的動力驅使改革的想望.&nbsp;但是時代畢竟是改變的,&nbsp;現在的台灣人民會因為社經條件不同產生不同的壓力引爆點,&nbsp;這是不容忽視的趨勢,&nbsp;無法老是用過去來解釋或是阻止.<br/><br/>藍綠終究只是圖騰,&nbsp;內涵才是重點,&nbsp;我們已經度過了初期茅塞未開,&nbsp;混沌期.&nbsp;人文歷史學家<strong>Isaiah&nbsp;Berlin</strong>曾說:[<span style="color:Blue">偉大解放的思想,&nbsp;不可避免的,&nbsp;它們最終必會變成令人窒息的枷鎖</span>.]&nbsp;所有輝煌與骯髒都成為歷史,&nbsp;但是面對未來,&nbsp;過去不足恃,&nbsp;不是武器也不是包袱,&nbsp;我們需要前瞻的進步作為.<br/><br/>人類歷史如果是<strong>進步史</strong>的話,&nbsp;我們只能從犯較少錯的角度出發,&nbsp;讓事物的循環邁入正軌,&nbsp;而非一灘死水,&nbsp;不流動的汙水.&nbsp;我們都希望終結凍結台灣現今的停滯,&nbsp;&#34;凍結意外&#34;,&nbsp;只是人民逐漸陷入一種迷惘,&nbsp;不知道誰說的是真的,&nbsp;真假對錯是非模糊的情況下,&nbsp;這塊土地慢慢進入了壓力鍋,&nbsp;不知道何時掀開或是宣洩的臨界點.&nbsp;<br/><br/>政治到了這般田地,&nbsp;真是悲哀,&nbsp;完全無法科學量化質化,&nbsp;只能訴諸整個社會成熟度的投票.&nbsp;我們其實也沒有悲哀的權利,&nbsp;畢竟整個社會與國家是我們自己塑造的,&nbsp;條件不夠,&nbsp;如同時機未到,&nbsp;勉強也是惘然.&nbsp;<br/><br/>務實一點,&nbsp;我們也不會想最近有一天睡覺醒來,&nbsp;中國突然改成民主自由選舉的開明政府一樣,&nbsp;歷史的上沖下洗實在急不得.<br/><br/>我們能做的,&nbsp;也許只是避免惡性循環,&nbsp;避免不良的重複,&nbsp;就如同工廠的瑕疵品,&nbsp;放在那裡,&nbsp;其實變好的機率是渺茫的.<br/><br/>我也曾經是狹隘的百合學運組織中的一員,&nbsp;大家聚在一起,&nbsp;為了一個中心思想,&nbsp;綁在一起,&nbsp;不容逃脫,&nbsp;進退兩難,&nbsp;好在當時時空是相對正確的,&nbsp;理想性有了正當化的結局.&nbsp;如今&nbsp;每個生活在逐漸令人不耐與不可思議的地方,&nbsp;到處可見低俗粗鄙語言的政治官員,&nbsp;形象不佳的立法委員,&nbsp;勇氣只淪於嘴巴,&nbsp;我們的選擇變少,&nbsp;失落變多,&nbsp;結果,&nbsp;只能靠&#34;意外&#34;,&nbsp;靠不小心選到好的人來帶領這個蘊育我們的家園.&nbsp;<br/><br/>也許&nbsp;考驗我們整體成熟度與智慧的時候到了,&nbsp;無論什麼意外,&nbsp;都應該坦然接受,&nbsp;因為這是基於我們大多數人水平與教養選出的結論,&nbsp;不必怨天尤人,&nbsp;歷史也許無法預測,&nbsp;但是似乎有些事情是無法強求的,&nbsp;順勢利導,&nbsp;盼望台灣未來能更好,&nbsp;不再意外的沉淪.<br/><br/>尼采說:&nbsp;[&nbsp;&#34;真相都很簡單&#34;&nbsp;這句話本身不就是一個複雜的謊言??]&nbsp;任何的說法(電視,&nbsp;報紙,&nbsp;造勢場合....)聽聽就好,&nbsp;施政績效/兩岸/兩黨,..的變數都很多,&nbsp;看樣子,&nbsp;結果真的靠歷史的意外!!&nbsp;沒有人有把握.<br/><br/>什麼,&nbsp;把握?&nbsp;您會說:&nbsp;[蔡醫師您剛出社會嗎?]<br/><br/>&nbsp;<br/><img src="http://www.plastyblog.com/attachments/month_0803/r200832019446.gif" border="0" alt=""/>&nbsp;<strong><span style="color:Red">2重複的科學</span>!!</strong><br/><br/><br/><br/>]]></description>

style="color:Blue">Conan&nbsp;Doyle&nbsp;</span>所著的&nbsp;福爾摩斯全集(<span style="color:Blue">Sherlock&nbsp;Holmes&nbsp;stories</span>)裏頭,&nbsp;&#34;The&nbsp;Adventure&nbsp;of&nbsp;the&nbsp;Copper&nbsp;Beeches&#34;ㄧ書提到一段對白:&nbsp;<br/>[&nbsp;<strong>Data!Data!Data!</strong>&nbsp;]&nbsp;he&nbsp;cried&nbsp;impatiently.<br/>[&nbsp;I&nbsp;can&#39;t&nbsp;make&nbsp;bricks&nbsp;without&nbsp;clay.&nbsp;]<br/><br/><img src="http://www.plastyblog.com/attachments/month_0802/h2008223154221.jpg" border="0" alt=""/>&nbsp;福爾摩斯沒有耐心的哭喊要求資料,&nbsp;否則他就比喻成沒有黏土無法砌磚,&nbsp;這和前言所引用大數學家龐加萊的前半段比喻說法---&nbsp;蓋房子需要石頭類似.<br/>偵探福爾摩斯需要data資料,&nbsp;數據,&nbsp;線索來做出判斷,&nbsp;估計,&nbsp;現代的鑑識專家李昌鈺也是.&nbsp;我們也需要嗎?<br/>我寫了個廢話提問,&nbsp;答案當然是肯定的.&nbsp;<br/>不過資料在21世紀,&nbsp;資料不是太少,&nbsp;而是太多,&nbsp;太雜,&nbsp;不容易分析.&nbsp;這也是我引用於前言的&nbsp;Henri&nbsp;Poincare&nbsp;龐加萊:[............<strong>But&nbsp;an&nbsp;accumulation&nbsp;of&nbsp;facts&nbsp;is&nbsp;no&nbsp;more&nbsp;a&nbsp;science&nbsp;than<br/>&nbsp;a&nbsp;heap&nbsp;of&nbsp;stones&nbsp;is&nbsp;a&nbsp;house.</strong>]&nbsp;後半段的重點:&nbsp;&#34;資料事實的累積不是科學,&nbsp;正如堆石頭不等同於蓋房子一樣&#34;.<br/>20世紀他就有這種感想,&nbsp;21世紀更是如此.<br/><br/><img alt=""/>&nbsp;現代資料已經蒙塵,&nbsp;甚至覆雪,&nbsp;就像同ㄧ座福爾摩斯的雕像,&nbsp;只是披著厚重的雪一樣.<br/><br/>打開網路搜尋,&nbsp;您可以免費輕鬆找到似是而非,&nbsp;不知真假的大量資料.&nbsp;但是您真正想找的,&nbsp;或是接近正確的,&nbsp;卻沒有人幫助您分析,&nbsp;反而找到更多需要判斷的資料,&nbsp;增加更多的時間心力的付出,&nbsp;轉移了注意力的另ㄧ層意義就是分心,&nbsp;無法專注原本過去自啟蒙時代所追求的獨立思考判斷.<br/>人的獨立彷彿建立在一個地基鬆動的基礎上.<br/><br/>每個人離不開資料與數據,&nbsp;舉例來說:&nbsp;開業醫每天看門診量,&nbsp;業績,&nbsp;開刀量,&nbsp;比較同行的價錢,...&nbsp;近來多ㄧ項網站的瀏覽量,&nbsp;或是發問數.&nbsp;那大醫院的醫師就不同嗎?&nbsp;看起來也是如此,&nbsp;只不過依照職位階級不同,&nbsp;職位越高,&nbsp;資料數據越多,&nbsp;越是眼花撩亂.<br/>做研究的,&nbsp;看到一堆實驗數據,&nbsp;論文,&nbsp;更是頭大,&nbsp;數據本身沒有解讀,&nbsp;不過是一坨數字而已;&nbsp;論文沒有吸收,&nbsp;分析,&nbsp;判斷,&nbsp;怎麼知道哪個重要,&nbsp;哪個造假,&nbsp;哪個仍有爭議.<br/><br/>Data&nbsp;analysis,&nbsp;processing目前看來還是得自己做,&nbsp;而且比起19,&nbsp;20世紀的人更累,&nbsp;更需要方法.&nbsp;可是,&nbsp;學校卻沒有教.&nbsp;因此在我看來,&nbsp;現實社會只給smart到可以自修的聰明人或運氣好唸到正確專業學科的人機會,&nbsp;其他人呢?&nbsp;只能碰更少的機會,&nbsp;來做正確的事.<br/><br/>應付眼前的資料,&nbsp;人有一些做法和心態:<br/>(1)&nbsp;<span style="color:Red">削足適履</span>:&nbsp;成語:&nbsp;&#34;削足適履&#34;是大學裡常做的勾當,&nbsp;&#34;必要之惡&#34;.&nbsp;看起來不正確的,&nbsp;不恰當的,&nbsp;不符合預期的,&nbsp;通通幹掉,&nbsp;刪掉,&nbsp;當作誤差,&nbsp;偏差.<br/>(2)&nbsp;<span style="color:Red">掩耳盜鈴</span>:&nbsp;裝做沒看見,&nbsp;讓錯誤擴大,&nbsp;比如說,&nbsp;生物實驗有許多半定量的儀器,&nbsp;其所測出來的數據本來就有爭議,&nbsp;再用統計分析,&nbsp;尤其是不正確的方法(常見是把不會正常分布的樣本通通當作一樣的理想模式),&nbsp;無疑再將其擴大.&nbsp;<br/>(3)&nbsp;<span style="color:Red">物以類聚</span>:&nbsp;因問大家的能力有限,&nbsp;所以我們會和類似的人做相近的事,&nbsp;然後再反覆催眠這一群人,&nbsp;大家做的事沒錯,&nbsp;而且行之多年,&nbsp;也沒什麼壞處,&nbsp;和另ㄧ個族群接觸&nbsp;變得保守,&nbsp;甚至排斥.&nbsp;所以推導出另ㄧ個成語:&nbsp;[<strong>積非成是</strong>].<br/>物理學家費曼說:[The&nbsp;job&nbsp;of&nbsp;a&nbsp;scientist&nbsp;is&nbsp;to&nbsp;listen&nbsp;carefully&nbsp;to&nbsp;nature,&nbsp;not&nbsp;to&nbsp;tell&nbsp;nature&nbsp;how&nbsp;to&nbsp;behave.]&nbsp;愛因斯坦也說類似的話:[Mathematics&nbsp;are&nbsp;well&nbsp;and&nbsp;good&nbsp;but&nbsp;nature&nbsp;keep&nbsp;dragging&nbsp;us&nbsp;around&nbsp;by&nbsp;the&nbsp;nose.]<br/>(4)&nbsp;<span style="color:Red">自食惡果</span>:&nbsp;這個情形就如同我再文章開頭所虛構的故事一樣,&nbsp;人類許多知識,&nbsp;甚至形為誤用資料,&nbsp;誤用科學,&nbsp;就會產生自己也無法收拾的局面.<br/><br/>舉一個常見,&nbsp;比較貼近真實的狀況就是:&nbsp;政治.&nbsp;政治需要資料,&nbsp;就會用到分析工具,&nbsp;最常見的就是統計.&nbsp;但是預測的誤用,&nbsp;八卦或是小道消息的濫用,&nbsp;不會使得社會國家更好,&nbsp;只會更亂.&nbsp;連偉大的護士南丁格爾(<strong>Florence&nbsp;Nightingale</strong>,&nbsp;1820&nbsp;to&nbsp;1910)都誤以為:[若想了解上帝在想什麼,&nbsp;就必須學統計.&nbsp;因為統計學就是在測量祂的旨意.]（她為了英軍在戰地報告護理成果,&nbsp;還發明了統計上的&#34;圓餅圖&#34;)&nbsp;不過至少她比起台灣的一些政治家,&nbsp;宗教家,&nbsp;慈善家懂得一點科學,&nbsp;而不是只會綠卡,&nbsp;抓耙仔等無聊口水,&nbsp;或是告訴大家只要相信虛無.<br/><br/><img style="color:Blue"><strong>南丁格爾的圓形圖</strong></span><br/><br/>信仰並非宗教的權利,&nbsp;即使篤信科學,&nbsp;仍舊會有成見,&nbsp;既有的觀念需要突破.&nbsp;因此,&nbsp;資料狂的信仰應該是客觀,&nbsp;獨立,&nbsp;自主,&nbsp;創新的,&nbsp;而不是原地踏步,&nbsp;影印機,&nbsp;讀稿機式的機器人.<br/>信不信?&nbsp;如何信?&nbsp;信什麼?&nbsp;也許是未來科技需要努力改善的課題.<br/><br/><img style="color:Green">王荊公&lt;&lt;與杜醇書&gt;&gt;&nbsp;</span><br/>&nbsp;<br/>毎個人,&nbsp;對於所謂褒貶,&nbsp;對錯,&nbsp;其實自有一套準繩,&nbsp;只不過選擇相信哪一種說法的人多而已.<br/><br/>我實在是有感而發,&nbsp;感觸良多!!<br/><br/>18世紀,&nbsp;<u><strong>伏爾泰</strong></u>因為個人恩怨(因為當時他,&nbsp;莫沛特&nbsp;和一位女子以及她的老公陷入四角戀愛,&nbsp;比壹週刊寫得更勁爆吧!!&nbsp;比起現代真的不惶多讓),&nbsp;把對於法國物理學家<u><strong>莫沛特</strong></u>的仇恨,&nbsp;寫成一本冊子就叫做&lt;&lt;<span style="color:Red">阿卡奇亞醫生的譴責</span>&gt;&gt;(這比起台灣政治抹黑文宣高明很多倍,&nbsp;所謂&#34;小本的&#34;,&nbsp;後來被焚毀了,&nbsp;真可惜??).&nbsp;其內容據歷史考據,&nbsp;極盡諷刺挖苦之能事,&nbsp;把莫沛特這個科學家寫成瘋子一般,&nbsp;比如說這位科學家倡導研究離心力可以治療中風,&nbsp;環鋸人體以研究靈魂,&nbsp;用數學公式證明上帝的存在,&nbsp;活體解剖蟾蜍來了解幾何學等等,&nbsp;指桑罵槐,&nbsp;罵所有科學家窮極無聊.&nbsp;因此教宗的醫師&nbsp;阿卡奇亞&nbsp;被召來治療這個&#34;發瘋&#34;的科學家,&nbsp;當然串通好的這群人所找來的醫師,&nbsp;判定他沒救了,&nbsp;請求宗教大審把他逐出教會.<br/><br/><img src="http://www.plastyblog.com/attachments/month_0712/o2007123184716.jpg" border="0" alt=""/>&nbsp;<span style="color:Green">這是伏爾泰的畫像.&nbsp;我很想忍住不批評這位大家公認的才子,&nbsp;偉人,&nbsp;思想家....等等,&nbsp;不過實在是人紅了之後,&nbsp;連肖像都被畫得比&nbsp;莫沛特&nbsp;好看(見下圖),&nbsp;唉!!&nbsp;</span><br/><br/>解釋權在誰手上,&nbsp;誰就有主導權.&nbsp;通常資深,&nbsp;權力大,&nbsp;職位高者,&nbsp;往往整碗捧去,&nbsp;別人不容置喙.&nbsp;即使到了21世紀,&nbsp;上述擁有者依舊,&nbsp;只不過加上新興媒體則是日益膨脹的霸權.&nbsp;不過反過來想,&nbsp;權位高,&nbsp;被罵得往往也很慘,&nbsp;毛澤東,&nbsp;蔣中正都是,&nbsp;所以毛講出:[為有犧牲多壯志,&nbsp;敢教日月換新天.]&nbsp;這類抒發豪情兼自我安慰的話,&nbsp;否則天天被那麼多人譴責,&nbsp;真會瘋掉,&nbsp;裝做沒聽到或通通槍斃也不是辦法.<br/><br/>伏爾泰因為出名,&nbsp;是名作家,&nbsp;號稱&#34;西方的孔子&#34;(哇!),&nbsp;活得也久(84歲),&nbsp;所以被他諷刺+暗喻+&#34;點名&#34;的人真是百口莫辯,&nbsp;甚至是笑柄,&nbsp;超可憐悽慘,&nbsp;&#34;電&#34;很久,&nbsp;最後因為&#34;臉皮薄&#34;,&nbsp;避居到瑞士,&nbsp;抑鬱而終.&nbsp;但是莫沛特(Pierre&nbsp;de&nbsp;Maupertuis)是誰呢?&nbsp;我想很多人沒聽過,&nbsp;其實在歷史上,&nbsp;他的定位比伏爾泰這個花花公子,&nbsp;能言善道的&#34;宣傳&#34;文學家,&nbsp;要好,&nbsp;他可是[最小作用量定理](<strong>principle&nbsp;of&nbsp;least&nbsp;action</strong>)的倡導者,&nbsp;只是因為文學實在是比較通俗親民,&nbsp;伏爾泰容易為人所認識.<br/><br/><img src="http://www.plastyblog.com/attachments/month_0712/c2007123184653.jpg" border="0" alt=""/>&nbsp;<span style="color:Green">莫沛特(Pierre&nbsp;de&nbsp;Maupertuis)----&nbsp;科學家好沉思,&nbsp;冷靜,&nbsp;低調的個性往往會吃悶虧!!&nbsp;莫沛特是最好的借鏡.</span><br/><br/>更諷刺的是,&nbsp;伏爾泰自己寫過另一本哲理小說&lt;&lt;憨第德&gt;&gt;,&nbsp;描述一個年輕人儘管經歷世界許多殘酷的試煉,&nbsp;但是他始終相信苦難是為了更好的將來而承受,&nbsp;他還是活在一個最好的世界.&nbsp;樂觀,&nbsp;被伏爾泰極端化之後,&nbsp;書寫成好笑的,&nbsp;尤其是和現實生活成強烈對比,&nbsp;不合時宜,&nbsp;迂腐愚蠢.<br/><br/>這暗示什麼?&nbsp;人得現實一點,&nbsp;永遠為最壞作打算?!&nbsp;伏爾泰真的是&#34;吃人夠夠&#34;,&nbsp;正反都被他講光了.&nbsp;<br/><br/>類似的&#34;互咬&#34;情況,&nbsp;大哲學家<span style="color:Red">羅素</span>也攻擊過&nbsp;&#34;超級賽亞人&#34;--&nbsp;全才數學家<span style="color:Red">龐加萊</span>,&nbsp;只不過沒得逞,&nbsp;龐加萊的天才戰力太強.&nbsp;文人相輕自古皆然,&nbsp;尤其我後來研讀歷史,&nbsp;才赫然發現科學家更容易被哲學家攻訐,&nbsp;主要是有些基礎科學太過深奧,&nbsp;不要說ㄧ般人,&nbsp;專家也不易了解.<br/><br/><img src="http://www.plastyblog.com/attachments/month_0712/f2007124181056.jpg" border="0" alt=""/>&nbsp;<span style="color:Green">此張稀有照片是1911年於Silvay&nbsp;Congress所拍攝,&nbsp;數學全才&nbsp;龐加萊(Henri&nbsp;Poincare,&nbsp;1854-1912,&nbsp;照片前排和&nbsp;Marie&nbsp;Curie&nbsp;討論,&nbsp;滿臉鬍子的人,&nbsp;隔年他就過世了),&nbsp;他的名字唸起來就是說不上來哪裏怪怪的???&nbsp;注意到沒,&nbsp;那時候剛嶄露頭角的愛因斯坦,&nbsp;和當時如日中天,&nbsp;天才思想在各科學領域&#34;無孔不入&#34;的龐加萊比起來,&nbsp;只能站在右後排,&nbsp;紳士&#34;溫和&#34;的笑著......or&nbsp;嘿嘿嘿</span><br/><br/><br/>你會說,&nbsp;這些攻訐行徑有什麼稀奇,&nbsp;每個人都嘛學乖,&nbsp;早就算是[公民常識]囉.<br/><br/>一個醫師面對醫療,&nbsp;除了盡力,&nbsp;其餘的解釋權,&nbsp;在今天,&nbsp;成為一個逐漸弱勢的族群.&nbsp;年輕一輩必須體認,&nbsp;我們宛若變身怪醫,&nbsp;面對醫療的當口,&nbsp;是&nbsp;傑克爾(<strong>Jekyll</strong>)的良善好醫師;&nbsp;但是面對壓迫污蔑的不合理處境時,&nbsp;我們又被迫成為&nbsp;海德(<strong>Hyde</strong>)&nbsp;,&nbsp;捍衛自己專業與公義的自尊,&nbsp;因為我們得自己站起來,&nbsp;儘管在旁觀者的印象記憶裏,&nbsp;會連不太起來這兩種極端形象.<br/>該做的事得有人堅持,&nbsp;至少號稱最後防線的正統外科醫師可不能變成軟腳蝦!!&nbsp;惡例ㄧ開,&nbsp;沒完沒了.<br/><br/><br/><img src="http://www.plastyblog.com/attachments/month_0712/z2007123184734.jpg" border="0" alt=""/>&nbsp;<span style="color:Green">&nbsp;<img src="http://www.plastyblog.com/attachments/month_0712/r2007123185112.gif" border="0" alt=""/>&nbsp;醫師得喝什麼才會變身,&nbsp;配方因人而異,&nbsp;必須好好自己研究ㄧ下.</span><br/><br/>即使大家等著看醫師笑話,&nbsp;也無所謂.&nbsp;被譴責或者評斷,&nbsp;不必害怕,&nbsp;該面對的終究是自己&#34;慎獨&#34;這一關.&nbsp;<br/><br/>中立妥協有用嗎?&nbsp;也許.&nbsp;不過對抗不合理的最佳方式得直接/強硬ㄧ點,&nbsp;借用&lt;&lt;比光速還快(Faster&nbsp;than&nbsp;the&nbsp;speed&nbsp;of&nbsp;light)&gt;&gt;那本書的看法:&nbsp;[&nbsp;<span style="color:Blue">如果想扮演聯合國,&nbsp;下場是兩邊的人都會向你開火</span>.]&nbsp;<strong>所以不管討論區,&nbsp;媒體,&nbsp;患者,&nbsp;看笑話的,&nbsp;袖手旁觀的,&nbsp;落井下石者,&nbsp;避之唯恐不及的,&nbsp;冷言冷語的,&nbsp;&#34;浸潤之譴&#34;,&nbsp;[我就知道的]......無論怎麼攻擊,&nbsp;醫師的態度應該就是擇善固執,&nbsp;講道理,&nbsp;其餘&#34;免講&#34;才對.</strong><br/><br/>醫療仍是充滿良善的行業,&nbsp;除了臨床服務,&nbsp;還有極為有趣的研究與教學工作.&nbsp;所以,&nbsp;最好的時代也是最壞的時代,&nbsp;端視從哪個角度來看.<br/><br/><span style="font-size:11pt"><strong>在這個疏離的時代,&nbsp;感謝所有朋友與患者長期對我的支持與信任,&nbsp;人生可貴的還是在於這種不受左右,&nbsp;令人動容的誠摯光輝,&nbsp;任何表象的讚美或譴責相形之下,&nbsp;已變得微不足道,&nbsp;由衷感謝.</strong></span><br/><br/><br/><br/><img
